Brewery tours are reaping it's benefits on learning more about the business at its core, networking with people at the field, in the operations, at the foundations. Back from almost final leg of tour - Nanjing. The process is a simple yet crucial: 1-2 days agenda talking to the dept, finding out what has been done before, asking what role we at headquarters can play to support. After? Good food at restaurants, beer ganbei ritual is a must to forge bonds and an act of "face" giving to the brewery mgrs.

Pride is definitely something I need to put down as you realise there are mountains of things to absorb, learn and at the same time translate. Inability to speak Mandarin business lingos is causing some hurdles...maybe mandarin lessons might be the key...:(
